This thing has been sitting idly in a tool box for years. When I finally needed it, the 3 "tines" that are supposed to hold the drill bits in place just wouldn't move. They are stuck in the open position. The yoke for releasing the bit lock adjuster moved as intended (it wasn't tight) and I was able to freely turn the hex bolt a quarter inch either way, which should open and close the bit's 3 locking teeth, but they move simply not. When I bought this item many years ago it did NOT have all the bad reviews it has today. If you're wasting money on this junk today, you can't say you weren't warned.
