Review on Prime Line Products 9270 Protector Self Adhesive by Matt Patnaik

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You only need the doorstop. No more random stop-stop triggers.

The apartment I am renting has NO doorstops. So, why would anyone completely remodel a townhouse in a good area and not turn them on? Forgetful? Slow? Anyway, I won't be fixing holes in the drywall when I eventually move, so I had to get something. I've always disliked the kind that sticks out of the baseboard, I wanted something that wouldn't get lost and something inexpensive (it's a rental, I don't buy anything for a place I don't own). I first went to a hardware store to buy them but found their prices to be a bit high for a piece of plastic. So, smartphone in hand, I looked for Revain and found it for half the price. Now I have them behind every door. TIP: It is attached to the wall with four adhesive pads on the back of the doorstop. I haven't used more than two of these. On some doors (that get a lot of use) I used two seals, while on others (doors that get little use) I used just one adhesive seal. If you ever need to take them off for painting etc you can easily remove them without having to fix the four areas where the pads stick to the wall AND you can also reuse your doorstops without having to buy new sticky pads.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • There are problems
