Easy as Gear

Ideal for patching a hole and/or protecting a wall from being cut by a handle. I bought a wall repair kit with putty and what not for another wall. looked bad Should have just walked away with this product.

Would definitely buy again

It works better than other brands I've bought recently. I agree with some reviews that the tape makes it "bulge" out of the wall more than others with a slight gap. But it's in a restricted traffic area and doesn't bother me.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Closes a hole in the wall.

My teenage son slammed the door and punched a hole in the wall. When we told him he needed to fix it, he ordered it. Five seconds to pin it to the wall and so far so good. Although I'd prefer it didn't make a hole in the wall at all. He's a lot more careful not to slam the door so it wasn't really tested.

No more dents on the walls - you can paint - it's worth it!

Works great! I love how it sits flat against the wall as opposed to those clunky little rubber grips you usually see. This can also be painted. So if you want it to be fully stealth, this works great. It also distributes the impact force of the doorknob more evenly and broadly over a larger area, avoiding dents in the wall, while rubber "knobs" sometimes bang through the wall anyway.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Almost everything fits

Does the job! on door hardware and locks

When we have the windows open the wind tends to control our bathroom door. So sometimes we are not responsible for how far the door swings open. I was looking for a piece of wall, not some Y-shaped thing you attach to a door hinge. These things usually prevent the door from staying open or opening fully. I didn't want a big ugly rubbery thing hanging on my bathroom wall either, so I decided to give this inexpensive plastic circle a shot. This little round thing saves our wall from one door slam

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

See photo: Holds up well, protects our walls well and can be painted over.

This wall protection was a good buy. It serves as a barrier between the closet handle and the wall in our hallway; I painted it to match the color of our wall. The color is easy to apply and apply. The double sided tape on the back works great; It took me a second to put it on and I think it will stick until I have to peel it off in a few years. The plastic is tougher than I thought it would be, but this cheap little thing does what we were hoping for. It was also very cheap as an add-on. I…

Peeling off paper covering the adhesive backing is awful

I bought three of these for the three areas of my house that needed them. Each stopper has four rectangular adhesive strips on the back. I took my first cork and ripped off the paper protecting the glue, only to find that I had actually ripped off all of the glue, rendering my first cork useless. I dropped that. For the second and third stoppers, I must have spent several minutes on each stopper, trying to gently peel the paper off without removing the adhesive. Although I was fully aware of…

You only need the doorstop. No more random stop-stop triggers.

The apartment I am renting has NO doorstops. So, why would anyone completely remodel a townhouse in a good area and not turn them on? Forgetful? Slow? Anyway, I won't be fixing holes in the drywall when I eventually move, so I had to get something. I've always disliked the kind that sticks out of the baseboard, I wanted something that wouldn't get lost and something inexpensive (it's a rental, I don't buy anything for a place I don't own). I first went to a hardware store to buy them but found…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
