This wall protection was a good buy. It serves as a barrier between the closet handle and the wall in our hallway; I painted it to match the color of our wall. The color is easy to apply and apply. The double sided tape on the back works great; It took me a second to put it on and I think it will stick until I have to peel it off in a few years. The plastic is tougher than I thought it would be, but this cheap little thing does what we were hoping for. It was also very cheap as an add-on. I posted a photo of this (painted) item on our laundry room wall.
