The container is quite soft so you have to hold it by the sides to fill it and then carefully place it in the freezer. Worse, the frozen cubes will stick to the silicone. Which makes the removal process harder than it needs to be - you have to peel, squeeze, and squeeze all at the same time - and overall pretty unsatisfying. (Especially difficult if you only want one cube, or if you don't fill it all the way and end up with a cube that isn't flush with the tops of the other squares.) This thing has a job and doesn't do it very well. The only benefit is that the size of the ice cube is just right.
