You definitely get what you pay for with this beast. The antenna seems useful, but it must actually be something in disguise. First, it is a magnetically attached antenna that can be used while driving in a vehicle. Unfortunately, the magnetic base is so weak that the antenna hardly rests on a stationary vehicle. Even the smallest hit will knock him off his feet. The SWR is terrible too. Although the resonance is listed at around 433MHz, my gear shows it closer to 455MHz. And the lowest SWR at this point is still over 3:1. Just avoid using this antenna for anything other than reception. But even then I would choose something else.
