Choose StarTech and save yourself the headache
I have an old laptop with an nVidia Quadro 2000M display adapter and no HDMI port, so I tried WARRKY on the display port and couldn't get the nVidia software to connect an audio device to audio over HDMI create. Tried adapters Insignia and Dynex. Same result. Tried the StarTech adapter and it worked with no problems. I have several StarTech adapters for Mac and Win laptops. They are cool!
