Solves USB problems for a good price, buy right or buy twice

Like many others, I've built many small hubs over the years, creating a serial mess that mostly just worked , although I followed the USB topology limits a, ie no deeper than 5 levels. This got rid of the clutter and fixed the issue where the drives sometimes turn on and don't show up until I reboot. The Pros78 watt power supply should be able to spin up 8 2.5" USB drives. Only drives are powered at the same time. Thoughtful laptop-like power adapter is no wall, buttons and ports are far apart, it's about 2 inches longer than cramped Acasis designs. Saves housework and wear and tear from constant replugging. Energy efficient , the more brick, like 13-port aluminum Orico. I always feel warmer. To be clear, the LEDs are quite dim as they shine through holes in the case with no light guides, making them difficult to see from the side. The corrugated top of the carton makes labeling difficult.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
