Updated - except for

. The adapter does not provide a stable connection to the computer. Items are constantly disconnected when connected to this hub. Don't worry, buy something else. It works fine, but uses a proprietary connector for power. If it breaks or you lose your power supply, you're probably out of luck.

Pros
  • . Don't waste too much time.
Cons
  • Crumpled

where is blue on hubs

No dropouts or other issues so far. If you have a good magnifying glass you should be able to see the little blue surface mount dots lurking deep inside that should be the power indicators. The hole is tiny so you have to be at the right angle. This shortcoming is pathetic and a pity, because the LEDs not only indicate that the port is activated, but also whether the device is active. The indicator lights up when the button is pressed, but turns off after a few seconds if the port is idle. This

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Solves USB problems for a good price, buy right or buy twice

Like many others, I've built many small hubs over the years, creating a serial mess that mostly just worked , although I followed the USB topology limits a, ie no deeper than 5 levels. This got rid of the clutter and fixed the issue where the drives sometimes turn on and don't show up until I reboot. The Pros78 watt power supply should be able to spin up 8 2.5" USB drives. Only drives are powered at the same time. Thoughtful laptop-like power adapter is no wall, buttons and ports are far apart,

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Very attractive option for powered USB hubs

I have a 2017 laptop with 3 USB-A ports and lots of external drives and I use a keyboard and mouse along with a monitor. This product was just what I needed to use all of my USB peripherals at the same time. I've had very bad experiences with other hubs, I had no problems with this device. The optics are very spartan but a bit rugged and the switches are solid. A no-frills tool for people who need something similar.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • This worries me

Keeps things charged

I only use this for charging not data. I bought this for all my cycling and running gear which is USB rechargeable. Especially for the low season, but of course works all year round. Accessories I don't use for months can stay plugged in, and every 4 weeks I hit the power button to turn the device on so the battery doesn't die or get damaged from sitting when I use it months later. I usually have 8 devices connected and cycle through individual cells as needed.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Hard to tell
