I love this stuff. My dentist warned me. And this thread is hard to find. What makes it special? It's expanding. Looks ok out of the box. Use it and it inflates. You can tighten it when you pull it out and get a normal thread, and you can pull it out slowly when it is inflated and you have another way to get food out. My teeth present me with every possible test. I'm far from being a casual thread user. I need something that will pull food out, not tear between clenched teeth or hurt my gums. It does everything.
