Purigen is great, that's not the reason. But, as other reviewers have complained, the latest batch of 100ml purigen. The bags I got leaked at the seam. And not a little; the seam simply does not close the bag and therefore all the resin flows out when flushed. I obviously didn't put it in my filters that way. So what's the solution? I suppose I get sieve bags and loose purigen to make my own bags (and/or to protect the defective ones I received). But it is better to use a well-made 100 ml. Pockets that don't leak at the seam like they used to.
