Review on 🚀 HPL EZ Riser Boat Ladder by Jere Mosley

Not great but helps

I bought this for my PWC to help my 9 year old daughter when she accidentally falls into deep water. I mounted it on the rear tow eye. I took my daughter to a spot where the water was up to her chest and asked her to test it out for a while so she could learn how to use it. The ladder unrolls easily and the foam-wrapped rungs float. This makes landing a bit awkward at first because you have to put your foot on the bar and lower it underwater (not too bad). The most uncomfortable part is that the steps move under the jet ski as you go up. It took my daughter about 10 tries before she successfully climbed the stairs. Since then she's been using it well, but it may take 3 tries. I also tried using the stairs. I weigh 215 pounds. As I put my weight on the top step, I felt the step flex as it tried to support my weight. However, on the second try I used the bottom step just as a boost and landing was much easier than without a ladder. Using only the bottom bar didn't put all my weight on the bar as most of my body was still in the water. Advantages: The rope and rods are soft and will not cause damage to the wave runner's body. A quick cheap option for stairs (hard to justify the cost of a real step when the PWC is older and not worth much on its own). It really helps. While that is a problem, my daughter would not have been able to get on board without this ladder. The height of the steps can be adjusted by untying the knots in other places. Disadvantages: poorly fixed in the wound position. Sometimes the stairs will detach themselves after driving for a while. Not the end of the word; i.e. I'm just going to figure out the best way to mount it. The stairs are floating. The stairs move under the watercraft as you climb to the top. Feels weak for a heavier person.
