These knives appear to be well made. The blades are quite stiff and have a nice curved shape. My husband thinks the handles are plastic but they seem to have a wood texture so who knows (see pic). However, since they are riveted, they must be hand washed. Anything composed of two different materials should not be washed in the dishwasher as the different rates of thermal expansion will eventually cause them to crack or warp. Contrary to the advertising and the packaging itself, these knives have no teeth (see picture). . It's a good product though, feels solid in the hand and is very good for the asking price.
