Large knife is very good. The small knife is ok, but had to be sharpened after a few days. The middle knife (the serrated knife) has an annoying "control problem": you just lower it, but it inevitably slides to the left, so you have to lower it to the right with some pressure to ensure a straight cut. I did not return the set, but will not buy again.

I'm amazed. These knives are fantastic, especially for the price. They are more substantial than I expected, well made and very sharp. While I know you should hand wash your knives, I put them in the dishwasher and dry them afterwards with no problem. The packaging is pretty cheap, but if it's not a gift, what's the difference. I have had Henkel serrated knives which I have replaced with these and they are much better.

After 10 years of heavy use, all my steak knives broke. Instead of buying a brand new set of knives, I just replaced my steak knives with this set. I saved a lot of money and the new steak knives go perfectly with the knife block that came with my original set of knives. The new steak knives don't match my old ones perfectly, but they're close enough. You can see I still have an old one in my photos. These knives are very sharp.

I bought this set of 6 non-serrated steak knives last week and tested this weekend with beef tenderloin and lamb chops and they exceeded all expectations. The blades cut through meat without leaving small chunks of meat on the blades or plates like serrated steak knives. The handle is the perfect size and the blades cut through meat with ease. To keep the blades sharp we plan on hand washing these knives and only time will tell if they stay sharp for a while. Highly recommended.

These knives appear to be well made. The blades are quite stiff and have a nice curved shape. My husband thinks the handles are plastic but they seem to have a wood texture so who knows (see pic). However, since they are riveted, they must be hand washed. Anything composed of two different materials should not be washed in the dishwasher as the different rates of thermal expansion will eventually cause them to crack or warp.
