As another review says, these pumps are SO much better. I also had an issue with the pins on TWO of them being misaligned! I sent one back and then decided to get in touch to make it work. The symptom is that the pump shuts down and gets very hot! The top contact is set too high for the center bias spring to function properly. I won't trust these pumps anymore as the last one is stuck in the woods. The design of these scratch pumps is not very good in my opinion, I'm a mechanic with over 30 years of experience. I probably won't be sending the last one back as Revain is so concerned about too many returns. I only have 30 dollars. But so be it. I strongly advise against buying one of these. Pay extra for a GOOD pump! I bought a secondary pump from a parts store, modified mounts and it works great!
