Review on 🔒 Enhanced Power Tailgate Lock for Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra - POP & LOCK PL8110 by Jorge Bryant

Having installed this product and am quite skilled, not a mechanic but I do all my light repairs (brakes, oil, adjustments) it was time consuming not too difficult but I had a bit of trouble installing the tailgate. The wiring didn't match the color code and after calling pop&block tech support I was advised not to connect the wire to the door panel at all, but to connect the wire to the fuse box. After the work is completed, everything works fine, but this product does not prevent anyone from opening the back door even if it is locked. All you have to do is "shake" the handle and the gate will open while locked. I wonder if others have had this problem when installed on a 2001 GMC truck? Very disappointed
