Useful for cable knitting projects.
Lightweight and convenient. I use them to keep track of braid repeats when knitting. I put a light pin/stitch marker through the small hole at the end of the stitch counter. On projects with different cables with different repeats, it helps to keep track of when cables need to be made at the correct spacing.
