We bought this to put under our 5th wheel table, the ideal width and length was just a few inches larger than the area but that's not a problem . We wanted to protect the carpet under the table from the dirt that dogs walk on. My husband cut holes in the carpet to get around the posts holding the table, to my surprise without much spreading and it works very well. Before washing, I apply silicone chalk to the cut off portion to ensure it doesn't fall apart. I realize this is not the intended use for this rug but thought someone else might use the idea. The rug itself is very nice and soft. I'm very impressed and will be buying a few more for other areas in the RV.
