I had a misfire with the #5 spark plug on my 1997 4.6 liter Ford F-150. Having had about 80,000 miles on this set of spark plugs I decided to use them all together to replace the spark plug wires. I found a few videos on U-Tube detailing what I need to remove to pull out all the connectors. It was pretty easy on the driver's side, but not on the passenger's side since the fork was pointing towards the firewall. Lubricate the threads of the plugs with anti-seize lubricant (in case you need to remove them). All of these plugs were properly installed and installed with no issues. The car started and the check engine light went out. I can notice a difference in performance and performance with the new plugs. My next task is to replace the exhaust manifolds on both sides.
