I had limited space to work with, not just from the box (that can be replaced easily enough) but between the wall studs. This not only meets my need but far exceeds it.The dimmer works as expected. The light dims up and down as it turns on and off adds something nice and is not "gimmicky" like I thought it might be. Also helps with that blinding moment in the middle of the night or morning when you first flick on the light.The timer is fantastic for the fan, set it and forget it. It stays wherever you left it last so you don't have to select a time each time. NOTE: It shuts off and then back on one minute before the timer runs out. At first I thought it was just acting up, but a little RTFM action revealed that it's supposed to do that - a nice feature actually.Nice to be able to turn it on and walk out, and not have to worry about going back to turn it off.Best of all they both fit in the same space one switch would normally consume.
