They came rolled up and the price was great. But we had a hard time smoothing them out so they lay flat. So I decided to try a blow dryer to see if a little heat would smooth out the wrinkles. It worked, but I used too much heat (in a hurry) and melted a small piece of the base into a circle by placing the blow dryer directly on it. It doesn't matter, but I've found the hard way that the LOW setting provides enough heat, don't bring the dryer too close to the carpet and look for an unwanted piece or an inconspicuous area first. Proceed with caution! i love carpets
