Review on Minoura Accessory Handlebar LW Clamp Devices by Mike Slippy

There are many accessories for handlebar extensions. I chose this one because they claim that the strip can be rotated (horizontally/vertically). This statement is true, but to do this you need to loosen the hex screw and then tighten it again after turning it. And I don't mean just loose, you have to turn the screw 6 or 8 full turns. Unfortunately, the design is such that the allen wrench can only turn this screw 1/4 turn at a time. This is madness. The hexagon screw must be replaced by a knurled screw! Another problem is the installation on the bike. Actually, I wanted to mount it somewhere on the stem or the steering column, under the handlebars, but this holder is too short for that. If I did that it would end up behind the brake cables leaving no room to mount my light. Another 2 inch extension would solve this problem. The third comment is that the actual plank is too short. Another inch or so would be ideal. And the two end caps on the handlebars should be slightly larger to serve as a stop so that the built-in accessories do not slip out. On the plus side, it's fairly durable yet lightweight (in a good way).
