Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enhance Track Performance with the Power Stop PST-1405 Track Day Brake Pad by Timothy Harper

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent value for track use

I use Power Stop Track Day pads on the front and rear of my 2005 Cadillac CTS-V. The front brakes were upgraded to Brembo's CTS-V with 6 pistons and 2nd generation 370mm rotors. Up until a few years ago I typically used the DTC70 and DTC60 (front/rear) on the Hawk car. Then I found out about the Raybestos ST series pads and looked at a few sets of them. When I saw these Power Stop Track Day Pads I thought the price was too good to be true - I had low expectations but I got the price. it wouldn't hurt to give them a chance. Turns out they work great! They seem to need a more thorough break in than the other pads mentioned above, but once they're broken in I have no complaints about the performance - nor do I care about my brakes! I can get a complete set of front and rear brake pads for less than one of the other brand front brake pads. Can not complain. I'll say I've only ridden them on mid-Atlantic routes (VIR, Summit Point, Dominion) that don't put much strain on the brakes.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
