Low price is the only thing I can say about this radio. It didn't meet my requirements for a number of reasons, so I sent it back. Even though digital clocks have nice glowing numbers, they are quite cheaply made. The reception is terrible and I couldn't get a station to tune in clearly. At times, it seemed like a signal at a certain frequency was leaking through every other transmitter you could find up or down the scale. The radio has a battery backup but will not last long on battery power. It is intended for connection to a wall socket. No AM reception - only FM. I wouldn't waste your money unless you want a small clock radio with limited reception.
