This is a good clay for all modeling needs. Working with this tool has its downsides, but if you're willing to put a little more effort into the details, you'll be more than satisfied with the results. Most items that protrude beyond the main body of the sculpture require internal support. It should also be noted that molded objects over 3/4 inch thick will have stress lines after baking. I recommend artists to treat this material like normal pottery clay and they will have no problems. Last note. Completing an object with a carving. or looping is a breeze.
