I did not purchase these to make ice cream sticks. I copied the FB hack to make egg sticks for breakfast burritos. It was so easy and the family loved it. The pallets are strong and after a little spraying nothing sticks to the inside making them easy to clean. I get a second set to use on sliced fruit sticks to pop into my water bottle to enhance the fruit infused water I make in my Instant Pot.
