Review on 🚗 CB Radio Mounting Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JK (07-18) by Rugged Ridge 11503.95 by Matt Heringer

Rugged Ridge CB mount fits my 2017 Wrangler Sport 2 door perfectly. Installation took about an hour. To do this, three decorative elements around the windshield and the sunroof retaining bracket must be removed. No drilling is required, but you will need torx bits to remove the retaining clip. The mount itself is a little thinner than I would choose if I were making it from scratch. While driving, my UV-50x2 vibrates and wobbles quite a lot. It can be annoying but I don't think the mount will break. This problem could be solved by using thicker steel. The bracket itself is not inherently centered due to the placement of the sunroof bracket. However, this can be compensated for by installing a retaining bracket CB on the side. Depending on your CB mounting bracket, you may drill holes to adjust left to right position. My radio sits directly above my rear view mirror, although the main bracket is mounted to the left of the mirror. My radio does not block the mirror at all. The built-in cable hook is a nice feature. Wrap the handset cable through the bracket and let the handset dangle, everything works great. However, I decided to add a mount to the dash to hold the mic in place. For radio installation in JK, this is one of the best options. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
