Definitely small
Difficult to measure accurately so this bag fits 2 x 4 oz skeins stacked with little room for anything else. So definitely better for smaller projects. Haven't used the waist belt yet but it seems sturdy so hopefully it will work for my knitting while hiking. ETA: Now I use it while walking. Straps are strong, everything works great!
