Review on iRobot Roomba s9+ (s955020) Robot Vacuum Bundle: Wi-Fi Connected, Smart Mapping, Ideal for Pet Hair, with Automatic Dirt Disposal, Bonus Accessories by Erin Rodriguez

It was a $$$$ purchase but still (used daily for 1 week) I come home from work with amazingly clean floors. It got stuck 2 times (I adjusted and fixed the space between the furniture). One day I found him sitting in the middle of the floor with a dead battery. He has to go back to the charging station, so I don't understand why he couldn't go back before the battery was completely dead. This only happened once. I brought it to the charging station and after 2 hours everything was fine. The battery drains quickly (with all the pet hair on the floor, I set the suction level to high, which drains the battery faster). I wish the battery had a longer lifespan. Every time the battery runs out, it takes about 2 hours to recharge, so daily cleaning takes several hours. My floor consists of hardwood, thick carpets, and thin area rugs, and the Roomba handles all of these surfaces reasonably well. Removing pet hair worked great. I really hope that given its price it will last a few years before needing to be replaced.
