Review on Bilstein 24-187343 Yellow Front Shock Absorber for 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD by Paul Newton

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4. Bought 2 front shock absorbers 24-187343 on October 28, 2019 and got ready to install them in December 2019. was welded and cannot be reused. When installing Bilstein shock absorbers, the spring plate must be reused. The new OEM spring seats are not available and require custom tooling and mold shops, $$$. I had to purchase new complete shelving assemblies from another manufacturer to assemble my truck. I now have 2 new Bilstein Junk Shocks, -$200. Revain has a 30 day return policy and this date has already passed. An informed shock absorber manufacturer should install a new spring seat in shocks for models where the spring seat is not intended to be reused. Bilstein failed here.
