Suitable for some wires but not all

I'm a novice electrician and I'm always trying to save time and avoid injuries related to the nature of my job. Most electricians will tell you to watch out for carpal tunnel as you repeatedly use your tools to strip, twist, and pull wires. About the tool. As soon as I received it I immediately "tested it in the field" while working on repairs at the local hospital, I work with specialty wire and all sizes, from 22 to 00, obviously this tool is only rated for #10 . Some feature tools like a wire stripper gauge don't seem very useful, and after trying it a few times I just decided not to use it. PROS: Stripping thin wire was quick and worked almost every time, even 18-2 or 20-2 shielded wire, which really annoyed me when working with regular wire strippers. The tool took no effort to get the outer sheath and then with a little adjustment I was able to strip both wires a couple of times. Sweep #12 and #10 was a different story, it was hit and miss. a wire with a transparent jacket, the tool wouldn't work very well, it was almost like it had to strip the jacket first, not the insulation. This really annoys me and I'm going back to my usual stripping tools. The tool also doesn't like small pieces of wire, so if you're making "skew tails" the tool is basically useless. Compared to a regular wire stripper, this tool doesn't have a hole to make a wire loop or cut studs like other wire strippers, requiring you to go back to your regular wire stripper to do these jobs. I have a feeling this tool is for data transfer or low voltage. Electricians, Not Home or Commercial It seems sturdy and well built, but it doesn't work on all wires and you'll definitely need to keep your regular wire stripping tools in your pocket.
