I've put about 300 miles on this in about 3 months. It was easy to assemble and is amazingly quiet while in use since it's not belt/friction resistance. For the price point you're expected to manually adjust your settings which isn't a big deal especially if you're just dipping your foot into an exercise bike for the first time. Like many, I purchased for in-home workout convenience during the COVID pandemic during which I had put on a few more points than i care to admit, and have noticed a slow but steady weight drop (along with a regular scheduled workout plan and making a conscious effort to eat better). The cons listed below are mostly minor, but should still be considered depending on what you're after.PROS:+ Very quiet.+ Assembly is easy except for the one side pedal that, if you aren't aware, is reverse threaded (This is so the act of pedaling doesn't unscrew the pedal on the one side). You have to be sure to put the correct pedals and nuts on their respective sides.+ Magnetic resistance is easy to adjust while you're cycling.+ Good cardio workout.CONS:- The seat and handlebar height adjustment is limited. I am 5.6" and i have to have it at the highest setting on both to emulate the feel I'm used to on my actual mountain bike. If you share this bike with others of different heights, you'll have to remember which setting is best for you (you can use a marker to designate setting lines) and manually adjust it each time.- Handlebars aren't padded. They're coated with a rubberized protective coating, but it still feels like holding onto a solid metal bar.- Water bottle holder has no adjustment, so if you don't have a very specific size water bottle, you'll have to put it on a stand/shelf/something within arms reach to take a sip of water- Device holder is very small and cannot accomodate a phone or a tablet properly. My phone is 5.5" tall but if I place it vertically if covers bike's console. I can place my phone horizontally and use basic functions like skip/fast-forward for songs, but it is certainly too small to put a tablet onto it if you were going to try to watch a motivational video or a movie while you cycle. I've been looking at after-market mounts to attach to accommodate a tablet.THOUGHTS:If you're a pro biker with the clippy shoes, or your butt complains about the seat, you'll have to buy your own upgrade hardware, but at least you CAN upgrade it with other parts. I have started to wear weightlifting/padded gloves while i ride on this, as 40+ minutes of holding onto just the rubber coated metal bar starts digging in after a while. Again, for the price, this was a very easy purchase and it has performed well. You'll work up a sweat quite easily if you push yourself even a little. I don't have any buyer's remorse after getting this and don't feel like I needed to purchase a better model or something like a Peloton. It was a good price and I get out of it what I'm putting into it.
