Review on 2022 Upgraded ADVENOR Magnetic Resistance Indoor Cycling Bike - 35 Lbs Flywheel, LCD Monitor W/ Ipad Mount & Comfortable Seat Cushion. by Tim Bunker

Great for the price point

I was looking for a budget version of a spin bike (the studio I go to uses Keiser m3s but I’ve been trying to keep my workouts at home during the current state of the world) and I’ve had this bike for about 3 weeks now- I’m impressed at what it can do while being at a budget price point. It was packaged incredibly well, and I did have a friend to help me move the body that had the flywheel attached downstairs, but I assembled the rest on my own in about 20 minutes. Instructions are clear and tools are included. One of the main things I was looking for was a digital display that includes RPM (I’m using the peloton app through my tv for classes) and that was hard to find at a lower price point! This has RPM and you can select that as the static display. I also wanted to be able to clip in; the seller/manufacturer says you can’t use clip in pedals, but I bought 9/16 spd clip/cage reversible pedals from another seller on here and they fit! I bought short spindle, but it looks like the pedals that came with are long. I am so far from a bike expert, but I’ve been using the short spindle ones since I put it together and nothing has fallen off or felt unstable. I do have some creaking, however, when I come out of the pedals at a heavier resistance (but I also think that may be due to my replacement pedals or clips, so I didn’t take any stars off for that. I may try the pedals that came with the bike to see if it helps). So, try clip in pedals at your own risk; they’re worth it for me. The seat is wider and quite a bit more cushioned than most spin bikes I’ve been on- takes some getting used to but definitely more comfy than a standard seat.Resistance doesn’t get as high as the fancier bikes- I’d put it at topping out around a 18 or so on a Keiser or maybe a 65 on the peloton, but it keeps me moving while I’m at home so I call it good enough. Also, there’s no visual display of your resistance level- you just have to go by feel but the knob is easy to adjust. I also feel like I’m slightly in-between 2 of the seat height options, but now I’m just being picky. So far so good - if you go in with practical expectations at this price point, I think you’ll be impressed too!
