This worked great on my 2005 Ford Explorer. The wires are a good gauge (thicker than the wires on the Pioneer DVD player I just installed), are color coded according to the standard colors (they all match my Pioneer), and the wires even say what they are for. . You won't notice the markings on the wires at first glance (there are no stickers or other obvious markings), so take a closer look if you need to know what goes where. Note that this Ford connector does not have subwoofer audio lines (although it does have subwoofer power). Apparently higher end factory radios have a different 8 pin connector that goes to the factory subwoofer and amp.
