I've only had this case a few months but MAN has already bought it. I live on the street with my dog, a 30kg wacky pooch who never sits in the car (i.e. she scratches, digs, runs back and forth on this pavement constantly for 4+ hour drive). My dog also has a tendency (to put it bluntly) to poop when nervous and/or excited. And car rides make them nervous and worried at the same time. And my goodness, this lid has stood up to it all and cleans up beautifully (even after my dog ran his nerve product over and took it into every possible crevice of the lid).
