The second time we used this harness, my cat was startled and pulled on the leash very hard. I didn't notice it at the time, even when I removed the strap later, but it did cause the ring you hook onto the leash to deform and open. The next time we wanted to use the harness, the ring fell off immediately. Luckily that didn't happen while we were outside. This ring must be in one piece! I will say that my cat apparently couldn't get out of the harness despite a lot of effort, so it was a success in that regard. The dishes have the right design. Just be aware that this hardware failure can cause you to lose your cat.
