After all the great reviews this cream has, I couldn't wait for its arrival to help soothe the pain and itchiness of my shingles rash. Unfortunately, applying this cream had did nothing except make the shingles scream just a little bit louder upon application (it actually stung more when I put it on), even after hoping things would get better with repeated applications and applying it for more than a week. Also, it doesn't rub on clear, but kind of cake on, which I guess would not be a big deal if your shingles outbreak is located on your body somewhere besides your face or head (which mine was). I can't say anything positive about this cream except that if it does help you, you get plenty in this container. The only reason I didn't return it is because I couldn't be bothered and because I still hope it might be better for some other type of application, such as a burn or other type of topical rash.
