Review on FOOKER Composite Mountain High Strength Bikesflat by Polo Bradley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Inexpensive flat pedals that far exceed their weight class.

This is the original report. I received it today. Includes 4 gaskets and 2 spare bolts and nuts. My setup on the FSA crank called for two washers. The spindle has 15mm flats for a pedal wrench and 8mm flats for an allen wrench. I like it because the hex wrench lets you turn faster and the pedal wrench makes it easier (than any hex wrench I have) to properly tighten the pedals. I used them on a short trip with a steep climb/descent. I felt very confident about them. It wasn't a technical trail at all. I replaced a pair of clipless pedals with them and the confidence I felt riding those pedals allowed me to climb the portion of the climb I had failed on clipless pedals the day before. Now I'm fat, out of shape, just back to cycling, old (very old) dude, and your mileage may vary. I like them though and will probably buy a few more sets. Update: After about fifty kilometers I'm still completely satisfied. The grip between shoe and pedal is amazing.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • So far so good
