High quality bearings

You never know what you will buy online but after reading some of the reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. These pedals have the smoothest bearings I've ever felt in a very low friction bike pedal. The platforms are nice and wide and the hex bolts they use to keep them from sliding work great. Just make sure you're not wearing worn-out shoes. They came with spare non-slip bolts and spacers that act as isolators if the pedals make noise when you move them. They didn't need mine…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Inexpensive flat pedals that far exceed their weight class.

This is the original report. I received it today. Includes 4 gaskets and 2 spare bolts and nuts. My setup on the FSA crank called for two washers. The spindle has 15mm flats for a pedal wrench and 8mm flats for an allen wrench. I like it because the hex wrench lets you turn faster and the pedal wrench makes it easier (than any hex wrench I have) to properly tighten the pedals. I used them on a short trip with a steep climb/descent. I felt very confident about them. It wasn't a technical trail…

  • Solid construction

  • So far so good

Great quality!: Parts and components

I haven't ridden platforms in over 12 years. A friend persuaded me to try again. I don't like hiring people's gear and I don't want to spend a lot of money on a set of pedals that I might not like. I didn't want to buy some junk either. I searched until I found these peddlers. The shape and material of the components are the same as some high-end brands. I decided to take a chance. I couldn't be happier! I like adventure racing and don't waste time changing shoes. I've been peddling my trail…

Good (Updated) - Pedals and Cleats

So far so good. I recently switched from using SPDs to them. They grip well and are wide enough (shoe size 13). I rode quite a bit before leaving, just enough that one of the pedals (can't remember which one) started playing in the pedals a bit. I decided to take them apart to see what's what. Here's the scoop, they're a bushing and sealed bearing combination, it's hard to explain unless you do the same thing and remove the spindle from the pedal body. In short, both the hub and the sealed…

15 years on Shimano clipless pedals and an immediate switch to them

15 years of riding exclusively without clips on rough terrain. I love how without clamps I can use my hamstrings to pull the pedals up with an LED while I'm pedaling down with my other foot. hp Also, I can remove the cleat from a clipless pedal just as quickly as removing a shoe from a flat pedal. So why change? I bought another mountain bike to train outside in bed weather. It came with great flat/shod pedals so I rode with them. Liked the flat platform. Also very good control. So I thought…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Periodicity
