Works well no problems

I bought these from Revain earlier this year. I use it to hold my 3GS on my road bike. It worked great for over 500 miles on roads with the occasional big bump. I had no problems at all - neither removing the iPhone nor installing it on the bike - everything works perfectly. A few seconds ago I ordered a second one for my other bike. A few notes to make this clear for others: There is a small clip on the top, a mechanism that fully secures your iPhone in the holster. If you don't press down firmly on your iPhone when placing it in the case, this clip can sometimes get caught in the SIM card slot at the top of the iPhone. If you're not careful, you might think it's inserted correctly, but it's not. That happened to me once. Once I figure it out I just give the phone an extra squeeze when I plug it in and everything is fine. This is not a serious issue, just something you should be aware of. I had no problems with my iPhone disconnecting. I drove through ugly potholes, tree roots and manhole covers that flattened my tires, but my phone wouldn't budge. I've found it's possible to use Google Maps, iMapMyRide and other GPS/training apps, text messaging and an iPod with a phone on the steering wheel. I participated in the negotiations in the headphones. It works well as long as you can overcome the wind noise in the mic. Don't do this on the road, of course. But if it's safe for you, the mount works great, allowing you to use your iPhone this way.
