I spent a lot of time deciding on a lens for my Canon 70D crop. At first, I considered getting a sigma zoom or a tamron with an aperture of 2.8; however, after reading the reviews, I decided that I did not want to deal with the alignment and constant misses of these lenses, despite the fact that I could test them out. The kenon with a constant aperture of 2.8 also vanished for two reasons: first, the customer did not like the trunk, and second, the high aperture of 2.8 did not justify the price. I made the decision to bring along this Sigma since, despite the fact that the zoom factor is not very high, it is sufficient for shooting both landscapes and portraits. A rock-solid and high-quality lens that doesn't backfire at all; it's merely an artistic creation. Heavy. The aperture of 1.8 is effective, and it creates extremely beautiful bokeh. Almost silent, plus beneficial for people who shoot video. You won't regret purchasing it because, with the exception of patches, it has virtually no competitors in the market. Those who use Lightroom should be aware that there is not yet a correction profile available for this lens in version 5.2; the feature was introduced in version 5.3 instead. example photo: 18 mm http://www.
