This is a very unique material. Less rigid than ABS but much more resistant to cracking or warping and probably just as strong. On thinner prints, it can also be very flexible or completely rubbery after cooling. Dimensional accuracy is similar to PLA and much better than ABS with little to no shrinkage. As someone who spent their early years printing exclusively in ABS, it's nice to be able to just take parts out of the printer and attach them without sanding/sanding/scratching or trying to scale the prints to do that equalize material. As long as I keep the bed relatively warm, I haven't had any problems with curling or warping, and I didn't find it necessary to apply glue stick to the bed to get good level 1 adhesion like I do with ABS. I thought about docking. This thread became a star because it really took a lot of trial and error to get reliable print settings. Even if I had a few glitches with long printouts. I think my problems are mostly related to cooling. This is the hottest printer I've ever run and I think the lack of cooling makes it too soft to pull in. Also, I had absolutely no problems with layer adhesion or anything. I've seen string issues other people have mentioned, but setting the retraction to 3mm completely fixed them. I'm using this on a heavily modified DaVinci printer with Repetier firmware and hotend v6. Here are some of the key settings I use in the slicer: Extruder Temp: 230 Table Temp: 80 Retract: 3mm Circumference: 40mm/s Fill: 50mm/s Fan Speed: Auto 80-100% I also had to slow down significantly perimeter and Bridges. than PLA or ABS to avoid sagging, but that could also be related to cooling. This probably won't be a filament that you can just download and start typing, but I found it really worthwhile. Consistency, durability, and a fairly attractive finish have made this my new favorite material for long-lasting prints.
