I tried to calibrate mine before using it and it calibrated 7.0 accurately then it automatically started calibrating the 4.01 point when the 7.0- There was still liquid in there which messed her up. I couldn't get him to remember Sample 7.0. I then switched to a 4.01 liquid and thought I'd calibrate that and then repeat 7.0 but then it started calibrating at 10.0 points which this pH11 model shouldn't do at all, it's just one 2-point calibration model. He tried calibrating 10.0 with 4.01 fluid and that apparently broke it. The user manual does not explain exactly how to calibrate. Now I only get an Er4 message, which means a defective sensor. I have never used it. I have never touched anything except test liquids 7.0 and 4.01. New sensor $110.
