I had a chance to play this early at a con. Squirmish is an absolute delight. It's a very accessible spin on the card-battle genre while still offering deep and satisfying gameplay. I predict this will bring a lot of new players the table (no pun intended) who have never tried a CCG before. It's one of those games that blends the lines between family-friendly games and gamer-games.Squirmish also introduces some fresh new twists to battles, particularly the way it handles 4 player games. And -- as a hard to ignore bonus -- the characters are wonderfully silly/warped.
