For some of the jobs I do it's very difficult to have just one monitor so I bought this to use as a second monitor for my laptop. It has multiple ports that can be used, including Type-C and mini-HDMI, which is used in most new laptops. The monitor is quite thin and light, making it easy to carry around with a laptop. The scope of delivery already includes a bag to protect the monitor, which can be folded up for use. I also sometimes connect to my smartphone to watch videos on the big screen and it works great for that.
