I ordered it mainly for business trips. I've used multiple monitors for decades and when I'm limited to one screen I can't work as fast. When I travel, I often have to work on my laptop in a hotel room and I can't just lug a full-size monitor next to me. This means I can put it in my laptop bag and always have a second monitor with me. This monitor is exactly the same size and resolution as the one on my laptop. That's about as much as I can carry without being uncomfortable to carry around. It's about the same length/width as the computer itself and is fairly thin even with the lid on. It fits snugly in your pocket and doesn't add much weight. It comes with multiple cables and a USB power bank that looks like a phone charger. On my laptop, all I have to do is plug in the included USB Type-C cable and it works right away. There's also a regular USB plug for power if you can't use the UDB Type-C, which you can either plug into an open port on your computer or use a wall adapter. It also comes with an HDMI cable if you want to use it. The monitor has three USB Type-C ports, two on one side and one on the other. I believe one is just for powering the monitor when you need it, another for power and video signals when you can use it (easiest way), and one on its own on the other side to plug in a mouse or similar use. What. The monitor has speakers, but they are not very powerful, and a headphone jack. My computers default to using these speakers when connected to a network, so I go into the computer's settings and switch it back to the laptop's speakers, which sound much better. It took me a while to figure out how to use the stand case. It attaches with a magnet on the back, but the diagram in the instructions doesn't match what you get. I played around with this for a while and found something that worked, but then I saw a picture at the top of the box showing the "correct" way. This is the best way to keep it upright, but there are other ways to fold it so it can sit at different angles. fall protection or something similar. Don't count on it for full protection. It looks like the instructions are for an earlier model as there is mention of charging the battery. It doesn't have a battery, so it should always have a power source, even if it's only through the USB Type-C port of the computer connected to it. I mentioned earlier that the size and resolution are the same as on my laptop, so everything scales accurately. I don't see much difference between it and my laptop's screen, but this is a work computer and it doesn't have a premium screen. I also used it with my MacBook via HDMI and it worked right away too. The MacBook display is higher quality but smaller than this second display. Sometimes more space is better than a fancy display. I have no complaints about that. It works great, is easy to carry and set up, and does exactly what I want it to do. I wish I had had this solution many years ago.
