I've had one of these for many years and use it almost every day. Decided to buy for my daughter. It's good to hang groceries on them so they don't fall out of bags onto the floor. I try to distribute the weight evenly between the two sides. You can also hang umbrellas and some bags on it (if they are not too heavy). They are really worth the investment. I highly recommend them. By the way, I bought a cheaper version from the catalog a few years ago, and the ends fell off almost immediately. These are way better.
