Doesn't work for me.
I used it on a fresh green coconut and the hammer broke after a few hits. I switched to another rubber mallet I had. Unfortunately the coconut cracked at the bottom (not in a clean circle at the top) and spilled water on the floor. This went on for at least ten minutes. It didn't work for me. It might work better on a white/cut young coconut. Although advertised to work with green coconuts with shells intact.
