These plates come in two shrink wrapped packs of 50 in two styles: a fully open plate and a traditional plate with three dividers. Two packs are shipped together in one box. My box arrived in a packing box. Bamboo feels strong and not as brittle as traditional Styrofoam sheets. They are also great for small gatherings. They can also be reused if you wish and personally over Thanksgiving week my family of 14 (several visiting relatives) have used these plates for 2-5 meals at a time without loosening. Some of the plates were stained due to what was put on the plates or had slight traces of grill or turkey fat. But overall, they're great for assigned numbers for temporary use! We threw our plates on the compost heap after use. This is a great product for small casual gatherings or dinners for friends and family.
