The first thing I noticed about these was the thickness of both the transparent acrylic as well as the solar and mounting component. They’re both very thick and substantial giving a real feel of quality to this product. I love the transparent part. It has a little air bubbles in it that not only pick up the light when It is activated at night, but add some interest during the day as well. I really think the bubbles make it look like glass.The light goes right into what appears to be like a solid piece of acrylic to light up. It is really cool that the entire block of acrylic lights up. The button to turn the power on and off as well as from warm white to RGB mode is contained underneath the cover/solar panel. When you attach the acrylic lamp portion it is completely underneath and hidden from view.The underside of this has a great 90° angle so it sits flush along deck steps or railings. It comes with all the hardware to install these as well including anchors. These do have batteries that can be swapped out. Unlike many solar lights that don’t have batteries that can be swapped out, these will be able to have your batteries replaced and last indefinitely.
